Voestalpine
As part of its continuous improvement process, Voestalpine has implemented the Aquiweb MES software in its workshops.
Voestalpine in Fontaine in the Territoire de Belfort
VOESTALPINE is the world leader in the manufacture of high quality strip and foundry products for the automotive industry and its subcontractors. Its Fontaine site specializes in the cutting and stamping of parts.
With its automatic mechanical cutting presses ranging from 100 to 630 tons and its fully automated assembly lines, VOESTALPINE produces small and large-scale economic batch quantities.
VOESTAPLINE has equipped the stamping presses of its French site at Fontaine with the Aquiweb MES software.
Aquiweb, for reporting and continuous improvement
As part of the continuous improvement process, Voestalpine needed to make its dealings with the parent company more reliable. Sending out formatted monthly reports was at the heart of this approach.
Supporting, measuring and supervising the industrial performance of the machines was easy, as Aquiweb users explain. Another point of the continuous improvement project was the implementation of the SMED approach to better control series changes.
In summary, the company’s objectives are to:
- Supervise and measure the performance of machines (OEE, GEE, etc.)
- Support the continuous improvement process and in particular the change of tools (SMED, etc.)
- Facilitate reporting to the parent company
